CARLA GAGGINI

Carla has been managing events since 2011. She started with experimental music festivals and eventually ended up in Tech, where she fell in love with its community. During her career she has produced and run many conferences (yes, also the virtual ones!), meetups, webinars and hackathons.

She is one of the co-founders of the Flyless.dev meetup, a co-organiser of KCD UK, a CNCF and OpenUK Ambassador, and was the CNCF Marketing Committee Chair in 2022.

Carla is Senior Director of Global Events for Isovalent, the company founded by the creators of Cilium and eBPF. Prior, Carla was at Container Solutions-managing everything “WTF is Cloud Native” and “Software Circus”- and at Skills Matter, where she helped bring technology communities together and organised many conferences, including “Cloud Native London” and “muCon”.
